2012 Full Share

All  the veggie goods that the farm grows. A full share is 18 weeks of delivery through the summer.  The full share comes in a 3/4 bushel produce box.  It is a good option for 2 veggie loving adults or a family of 4.

2012 Single Shares

Same variety as a full share, only smaller quantity.  A single share is 18 weeks of delivery through the summer.  The single share comes in a 5/9th bushel produce box. It is a good option for 1 veggie loving adult or 2-3 moderate veggie eaters.

NEW FOR 2012.  Mini "Greens" Share

A Mini "Greens" Share runs for 18 weeks and is delivered in a 1/3 bushel box.  This share is ideal for members who want a fresh farm supplimental, but still  looking to purchase some items from the store and farmers market.  A Mini Share will have less variety (3-5 items per week as opposed to 6-12) than the Full and Single but contain items that can be easily intigrated into your meals.  It will be heavy on greens that you can use in salads and easy cooking.

This program of The Emergency Food Shelf Network takes donations for the purchase of produce from local CSA farms for area food shelve and those most in need of nutritious. local food.

        Core Crew ---3 openings

        The Core Crew team is the backbone of the farm.  This postion is ideal for individuals who are interested in farming and not afraid of hard work.  These positions are the day in and day out of the farm.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greenhouse production, transplanting, tillage, cultivation, weeding and harvest (lots or weeding and harvest!!) and cleaning and packing produce for a 200+ member CSA and farmers market(s).  Other responsibilities may include delivery driving, customer service at farmers market, building projects, etc. 

        This position runs April 10th-Oct. 26th for 2012.  The work week is Tuesday-Saturday, 7am-4pm.  Compensation includes a  starting wage of $8/hour starting and available farm produce.  Affordable housing will be available off farm.

       Applicants must be able to complete physical tasks through the work week, have a positive attitude and a desire to work efficiently.  Applicants must also be punctual, responsible and respectful of persons and property. For a full job description, please contact the farm.

       Part Time Openings

       Part time openings are available for the season from May 15th-Sept 29th, 2012.  Assisting the farmer and crew with planting, weeding, harvesting and crop care for 2-3 days per week.  Compensation is $7.25/hr starting and available farm produce.  Basic housing may be available during scheduled work days.  Contact the farm to inquire about opening.

       Market Assistant

       Help is needed during the summer at the Mill City Farmers Market.  Market Assistants must have excellent customer service abilities as well as the ability to inform and communicate clearly, add and make change quickly and accurately, and be puntual.  Compensation is $7.25/hr plus available produce.
